A CONTRIBUTION IN STUDYING THE EFFECT OF AGE, THE OVERWEIGHT AND THE SMOKING ON HYPERTENSION RATES CHANGES OF HUMAN FEMALE SAMPLES IN SPECIFIC INHABITANTS REGION IN LATTAKIA

Abstract

For studying the hypertension and its prevalence among 938 women in specific inhabitants region. The samples were distributed to different age categories and defined the numbers and Ratios of smokers and overweight.
The total percentages of smokers and overweight were (31.44 %) an (41.90 %).
The percentage of smokers at overweight of different age categories was detected and the highest was at age 20 – 34 (40.50 %).
The results demonstrated that hypertension increased with age, the highest value was at age over 75 (83.33 %), and the lowest at age 20 – 34 (6.38 %).
The percentage of hypertension smokers according to differed age groups differed, the highest value was at age over 75 (50 %) and the lowest at 35- 44 (18.75 %).
The results also revealed that hypertension at overweight increased with age, the highest value were at age over 75 (60 %). and the lowest at  20 – 34 (25 %).
